You don't need to enable or create services. In any case, that's an old
service you're looking for that doesn't appear in XP let alone Vista.
What you need to do:
Go to the printer mftr.'s website. Find Vista drivers for your specific
model printer. Install them. Now you will be able to print.
If the printer mftr. doesn't have Vista drivers, you will not be able to use
your printer in Vista. Copy your files onto a CD-R or a usb thumb drive and
take them to a friend's for printing or to your local equivalent of
Kinko's.
Then when the pressure to print is off, purchase a printer that will do what
you want and work with Vista.
