After installing the latest updates for Windows XP (10 critical updates) -my
spyware found SC-Keypad on my system. My Norton Anti-virus began sending out
unauthorized emails (the content and addressees unknown to me.) I was unable
to stop the emails. My Outlook Express is password protected, yet Norton
went ahead without asking the passwords. I restored and then ran checks -
said the system was clean. I re-downloaded the WindowsXP updates and lo and
behold after restarting my spyware said there was a conflict - that shields
had been shut off and IE Explorer had been hijacked. Is ANYONE else having
these difficulties with the new updates? May they have been possibly
compromised??
