Scan Disk

I cant Scan my hard disk for error. When I scan for error, its stop in the
middle of scan disk for veryh long time. Finally, Because of this, i have to
restore my Window back. Can I know what the reason this incident can happen?

Your harddisk damaged. Please replace disk for a data lost.

Hi there,

It is best you go to the manufacters webste ( Seagate Maxtor, WD etc) and
look for a tool there to diagnose your disk, usually the tool creates a
bootable diskette. Boot with this disk and choose the extendend test.

The utillity will repair possibel faillures if that is not possible it wil
create an error number which is needed for RMA if necassary.

Backing your important data up is preffered.
