Hi ALP,
It sounds like you have one those problems only a reinstall will fix.
Sorry.
Once you have everything setup and running smooth, you should make a
complete computer backup to DVD's or another device for safe keeping.
This way when your system gets trashed, you can simply restore the
complete backup to the hard drive and have that same smooth running
setup again. Just be sure to update the bachup as needed. It can save
you alot of time and grief.
Since you have the Home Premium edition of Vista, your edition does not
come with the complete pc backup feature. You can use a 3rd party
program like Acronis True Image to do it though. See this link to try a
15-day fully functional trial version to see if you like it.
