Scandisk "FOUND" folder?

I am absolutely HATING VISTA right now. I did a scandisk and when it
finished it said it had found errors and fixed them all (despite the
"automatically fix errors" being unchecked) and that files had been moved to
"the folder named FOUND". So where the hell is this folder? The message gave
absolutely no clue and I've run search after search and scoured Windows
Explorer to no avail. Can someone please tell me how to find this freaking
folder and why it is made so damn difficult to find?? Thank you!

Sue

Normally, when it does fix items and put them in a folder,
it does so on the root drive. I wouldn't worry too much
about it though, since normally it just finds deleted file
fragments that are simply taking up space.

I can understand your angst though. When you find 'FOUND'
can you post it so the rest of us can find 'FOUND' too?

Maybe post it with a title of "hey, found FOUND" or something.

Curtis

1. Restoration
2. Undelete Plus
3. PCInspector

These are 3 programs to try. Google them, and go to their Manufacturer's
websites and read up on how to use them.
Then download and use them.

There are other free Programs tha you will find as well, if you use Google.
These are just 3 that I know and use.
