scanner not working

I have a ScanTak-12p scanner that I haven't been able to operate since I
installed windows XP. It seems not to recognize. I tried reloading the
driver but it still wont recognize. Does anyone have any suggestions before
I trash the thing. I am not computer whiz. Thanks (Couldn't find a driver
on line and no listing for this scanner)

Is this scanner listed as being compatible with XP? You can check the
Microsoft website or simply Google for it and see. If not, purchase a new
scanner.

You may have to become a free member to download.

Otherwise a new scanner might be in order.
