This is the major problem for 64bit computing. While computer internals get
driver support, older external devices do not. This is the reason that I
don't go '64'. While my HP printer has support, my Canon Lide does not, and
I would sooner keep the scanner than migrate to '64bit' which would really
give me no advantage over what I have now..
