scanning for updates never stop

Hello
I have a problem that doesn't seem to be recognized
before.
My auto update has failed a lot of times because I usually
turn my laptop off. Now whenever I try windows update
manually, it doesn't stop scanning for updates, just keeps
going and not finding any.
Any suggestion for the problem solving would be appreciated.

I have the exact same problem withmy laptop,youre not alone.I cant find the
solution to this anywhere.Please someone help
