I noticed that I was not getting my updates. Checked the Automatic Updates
settings and noticed it was set for a time that the computer wouldn't
normally be on. I can't change these settings because that section of the
dialog box is grayed out. Is there something else that could be controlling
this functiion.

Hi Vince,

It seems that you do not have enough rights(permission) to perform this
task. Are you in a domain or workground environment ? If you cannot connect
as an administrator to fix this issue, you will have to get the responsible
person of the pc to change it for you.

Hope this helps,
