Scrabble game runs very slowly

Friend has an "online" (actually via email) scrabble game.
Game ran just fine under XP.
Got a new Vista (HP) machine and ...

"I don't think you can tell anything by going on the site. It's when
I'm playing a game that it takes a while for it to Maximize and when I
hit Post My Play it takes about 40 seconds to do it. With my old
computer everything was instantaneous. I have 4 games going with 4
different friends and they aren't experiencing any slow down with the game."

Are you talking Scrabble or Srabbulous? Purchased or free? From what site?
Yahoo specifically indicates not Vista friendly.....I'm trying to find a good
one (Scrabble version, that is). Heard anything back from this post?
