Screen capture inop

I'm running the latest version/build of both Windows XP Home and WMP 11.

I can be connected to the internet, and regardles of what type of
movie/video I'm watching, I can at any time hit the "Prt Scr" button, and
paste the captured image in any app I have.

However, when not on the internet, and I attempt capturing anything from the
Windows media player, or even from Outlook Express, everything that was on
the captured screen is pasted EXCEPT the actual video image.

Note, this was also a problem back with WMP 10.

It's as if the video image itself doesn't make it to the clipboard, but I
don't understand why it will work when on the net. I surley don't have
something set right. Thanks for any help. Lee.
