SCREEN FLASHING WHEN UNZIPPING

Whenver I use WinZip, or other Vista compliant decompressionn programme, the
screen goes into an uncontrollable loop of flashing on and off. The only fix
is to switch it off and re-boot.

Any ideas?

Hello Simon, unfortunately no solutions but I believe I have the same
problem. When I try to unzip a downloaded program, the install window or
the unzip window, it's hard to tell , appears then fades
within a second. I tried to shut it down in the Task Manager but the
text of the unzipping program keeps flashing as well and not long enough
to End Task so it's off to the restart again. Not sure if it's the unzip
or the program. I tried disabling AVG in case it was the problem but no
dice.

Any idea
(btw, as this is my first post, I find it really awkward to edit my own
post when I can't reposition the cursor within the text I've already
written! Or maybe that's just me )
