Screen hangs on welcome screen

After I did this:
Start/Run
Type "control /userpasswords2" ENTER
Uncheck "Users must enter..."
Click OK, follow prompts and reboot.

A window came up wanting me to enter a password, but I didn't, I just hit
ok. When I went to reboot the password box showed up again, but I couldn't
get past that because I didn't enter a password. So then I logged on in safe
mode and entered one but
now, when I start up it shows the administrator password box for a split
second, goes to the welcome screen, then just hangs there forever.

Oh please help me!!!

Is this your own computer your concerned about?
