Screen saver not coming up on ultimate with intellitype/intellipoint

Will there be a fix for the problem of screen saver not coming up on
schedule and computer not going to sleep automatically with
Intellitype/Intellipoint?

It is an annoying bug and I can't believe that there is no current fix for
these MS products!

Guess what? I found a temporary fix (if you will call it at that). Go to
services.msc and disable every service that has media center in it. Now the
screen saver comes up correctly as scheduled..... But you lose all media
center features......

Hi!

Last June, I installed Vista Beta and bought Microsoft USB wireless Keybord
and Mouse 6000.
The Screen saver and Power options did not work.
Th same problem with Vista RC1.
The same problem with with Vista RC2
The same problem with Vista RTM Ultimate.

But, since yesterday night, it works . . . at last!

The only thing I installed yesterday is this optional update coming from
Windows
updates:

Microsoft - Other Hardware - HID Non-User Input Data Filter

Installation date: 2007-02-05 20:13

Installation status: Successful

Update type: Optional

Microsoft Other Hardware sofware update released in January, 2007
