screen saver slide show

Hi all!
My screensaver slideshow worked fine until about three days ago.
Any ideas?

Is it the slideshow screen saver that's included with Vista? Is it giving
you any errors?

I have th same problem. It happened after I downloaded the new windows
update. Have you found any solutions?

Hi lyfgrd,
I downloaded an optional update that someone discovered to work if the
problem began when you installed a wireless mouse. What has one thing to do
with the other, beats me, but it worked. I am afraid I downloaded the same
recent updates, because I feel my screen saver is not working again. And yes
UnswoleLilDude, that is what I am talking about. Good luck!

I am getting the message "an error is preventing this slideshow from
playing". Can you tell me what optional update you downloaded?

Yes, I am refering to the slideshow screen saver that's included with Vista

Screen Saver Not Working. Mine, too, worked until I downloaded som
updates. I see numerous remarks on here with the same problems, but
haven't seen any ANSWERS! HELP!

Another thing I was wondering about! How come we have to rely on on
another to get our problems solved? Doesn't Microsoft have any suppor
systems left? What happened to service or support
