Screen Saver

Help please. No matter what I do I cannot get screen saver to work. Using
Control Panel -Personalize - Screen saver I can select a scheme, preview it
, adjust settings and apply - all with no result.

Do you have a Microsoft wireless mouse? If so this can keep the screen saver
from running unless you install the "Microsoftt - Other Hardware -HID
Non-user Input Data Filter" With your mouse plugged in check for updates .
It is one of the optional updates.
