Screensaver disappearing from list

Every time I install my screen saver, it seems to disappear from the
screen saver list. I've tried some Google searches. One says that it
has to be installed in "C:\Windows", another says it has to be installed
on C:\Windows\System 32". Needless to say, neither seems to be working
for me.

Any suggestions? It's one thing right after another with Vista
