I've been noticing that if I'm away from the PC for a while, the
screensaver hasn't been activated..

So, another settings change or registry edit?

Thanks

Hi,

It's probably one of two things:

1) The time out settings aren't there. Right click the desktop and choose
personalize. Click on Screensaver and check both it and power settings.

2) There is some active software, even if it's not visual, that is
preventing it from activating. Check the processes tab of Task Manager for
high cpu usage. In particular, some antivirus products can cause this
unwanted behavior with their active scanning routines.
