ScreenSaver InOp-no wireless devices

I have a new Dell E1705 Notebook with Vista Home Premium, I have no wireless
devices at all, unless you count the integrated WiFi. My screensaver will not
work! I am unable to download the HID Non-User Input Data Filter because
Windows Update does not offer it, I looked and it was not hidden or
downloaded in the past. My notebook will go to sleep no problem but no
screensaver.
I would really like it to function correctly, please advise.

I had the same problem- no wireless devices - and I found that if I
disconnected my usb internet phone the screensaver worked.
You could try unplugging your usb devices one at a time to see if there is
one causing the problem. As for a permanent cure, unfortunately I do not
have one.
