Screensaver Issue

Been having a problem with the standard Vista screensaver for a few weeks. I
can only 'exit' it by ctl-alt-del key combination then cancel. When I try to
exit using the mouse, touchpad ,or a key it seems to lock on the current
picture. Not a huge problem but somewhat frustrating so any help
appreciated. Cheers.
