Apparently, there are sites/forums that give access to what these
Microsoft-"forums" actually are: Usenet newsgroups.
This is what I get from the hearders of your message:
User-Agent: vBulletin USENET gateway
X-Newsreader: vBulletin USENET gateway
If you post via these gateways and include a screenshot, people using a
dedicated newsreader won't be able to see it. They just see a link to
the picture that's stored on the forum you use (the gateway to the
usenet newsgroup). If they click on it, their browser brings them to
the forum you used to post, and that is set up so that only registered
users can see the screenshot.
The fact that Miscorsoft itself is offering a crappy web-interface to
these newsgroups is bad enough. And I am totally against websites that
offer access to these groups via forums. Newsgroups are meant to be
accessed with dedicated newsreaders. Vista comes with one: Windows
Mail.
I suggest you to read these pages, so it can become more clear to you
if it isn't already:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usenet
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newsgroups
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/News_client
If you use a newsreader like Windows Mail, you can post screenshots on
sites like imageshack.us, and include a link to the picture in your
message. That way, everyone will be able to see it.
Hope this helps....
