Update problem and fixes that don't work:
1. I downloaded 8 updates for Windows XP professional.
2. This caused script error messages when I searched web pages.
3. I removed "Flemmish" language that mysteriously appeared on Win XP and
replaced with "English." Also checked Windows Office English language
setting. I already had Win XP SP2 installed.
4. went into control panel add/remove and deleted the 8 updates and rebooted
5. auto update replace the missing Windows XP updates again
6. I still get script effors
Please suggest what I should do.

There are several reasons you could be hitting this, but to narrow down the
problem further:
1. Do you get script errors at *every* site you visit?
2. Are the script errors all the same exact error?
3. Are the script errors always regarding VBScript or always regarding
JavaScript, or some other scripting language?
4. Did you have the Advanced setting in Internet Options set to notify you
of script errors before the updates, or was this turned off?
a. In Internet Explorer, click Tools
b. Click Internet Options...
c. Click the Advanced Tab
d. Look at the setting "Display notification about every script error."
Is this checked? Do you want this to be checked? If not, uncheck it and
try browsing sites again.

Please reply back and let us know the answers to some of these questions.

Thanks.

Sincerely,
