Script error with windows live update

hi i recently updated windows live to 8.1 and am unable to connect to any web
pages unless i disable my firewall. When i try to access my norton to
configure programs i get a blank page and the error message internet explorer
script error line 116. Not had this problen before please help

You may want to uninstall Norton and then reinstall it -- you'd be surprised how effective
this is at fixing Norton's firewall software issues...
