Very often, Search fails. What might be wrong with my system?

There is nothing wrong with Search. You have to use the Advanced Search
feature in Search and check on *Include non indexed, hidden and system
files*, and Search will then find anything you're looking for when
searching.

The non Adv Search only looks for files that have been indexed. Most likely,
the file or files you're looking for are not indexed files.

If Alias or Kevin replies, they would say to wipe your system clean and
install Ubuntu. Just FYI.

Don't know why search fails. How about some more information. Do you
receive any error messages? Does your system freeze?

You can set these locations to be indexed through the Index Options in
Control Panel.

Mr. Arnold and Anddre Da Costa;
Thank you for the responses. My problem has been solved by doing as
suggested by you.
