A program on my Vista Home Premium called " searchfilterhost.exe " tried to
get from my machine to an IP of
224.0.0.252 which I've identified as the IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers
Authority) in Marina Del Rey, CA.

Why would this program attempt to reach that agency and what is this program
used by Vista to do?

Jim
