Sec update .NET 2.0 (KB928365) on Win Serv 2003 ent DO NOT INSTALL

I updated win serv2003 on Aug 07 with Sec update for .net 2.0 (KB928365). It
installed with no errors.
On Aug 11 I started VS2005, it would start up for about 10 seconds then just
go away completely with no error. I went to Event viewer | application
– error .NET RuntimeEvent

I removed the update and VS 2005 runs fine. DO NOT INSTALL IT!!!!!

We have experienced the same "spontaneous exit" with our application, and it
also seems to be caused by that same .NET 2.0 security update. Uninstalling
that update eliminates the issue.

We're running XP Professional, and our app is written in C# 2.0.
