SECONDARY "FLAG" TO IDENTIFY MESSAGES

I use the flag in WLM to identify messages that need attention. But I'd
like another identifier that I can use where I have taken a particular
action (which may apply whether nor not there is a flag). I've looked at
Priority (but it seems that this can only be set by the sender of the
message) and Watch (but this can only be applied to threads rather than to
individual messages).

Any ideas on what I can use as an identifier?

Thank you, Gordon -- must have been what my kids irreverently call a
"senior's moment". It was meant to go to a WLM newsgroup.

Wow Gordon, did you figure that out yourself or did you get help from
someone?

Setting Watch on a message when it is open in its own window
applies it just to that message.

Even more awkward: use a rule to set a color for a message
which matches that rule.

Good luck

Thanks, 'Black Vista version', but what do you mean 'Mark for offline'?
That term appears in the WLM Newsgroups Edit menu, but is not explained
anywhere in Help. But it does not appear at all in the menu for Mail and
that is where I want to use it. Can you help explain?
