How secure is Live Messenger VoIP?

Hi all,

I noticed several concerns about Skype security in www.skype.com/security.
Skype uses ASE (client to client), RSA and so on. But I didn't find any
paper, forum discussion or help file about Live Messenger security.

Does anyone knows where I can find information about Live Messenger security?
Is Live Messenger really secure?

Greetings Marco,

Messenger has no encryption for both voice and text -- if you consider that "insecure". One
minor exception is authentication to the network, which is your standard browser-like SSL.
