How can I add Security Advisory kb981374 to my WSUS server for system-wide
deployment? I do not see this update listed in the import from the Update
Catalog.

The issue described in this KB article
[http://support.microsoft.com/kb/981374]
is further discussed in the associated Security Advisory
[http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec...y/981374.mspx],
which is fully documented and released as Security Bulletin MS10-018
[http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec...ms10-018.mspx].

The key when researching availability of Security Bulletin content is to
understand that bulletin content is quite often released under several
different KB article numbers. The KB981374 article is actually targeted to
consumers, thus the "Fix-It" links. For content released to MU/WSUS, you'll
want to look for KB980182, which was released earlier this morning (my
server picked it up at 10:30am PT)

Thanks! Worked great. For future reference, what's the quickest way to
discern between a "consumer-class" kb and an "enterprise-class" kb?

Go to the MSRC Security Bulleting and follow the links for "ITPro" would be
the typical way.

In this case, I simply followed the path I documented in this message, to
get to the MSRC Bulletin, where I then found the reference(s) to the other
KB article(s).
