Security Configuration and Analysis tool vs GPO

Hello,

what if a pc/user has a GPO and a Security configuration template
file applied at the same time ( from the Security and Analysis mmc )and
there is a conflict of settings.

for example the template states 2 password history and the GPO states 10
which will be the winner

Hello Netman,

In a domain the local security settings has the lowest precedence, so the
domain GPo will win. See also:
