Security Patches not recognized ?????

I log into my system with my user account which has admin priveleges and make
sure it's patched 100%. I then enable the Guest account and login. When I
check for patches it wants me to install the new update which checks for both
Office and MS. Anyone know why the Guest account doesn't recognize that this
has already been installed.
