HELP PLEASE....

I HAVE DONE EVERYHTING TO GET WINDOWS UPDATE TO WORK AND TO NO AVAIL.. I AM
RUNNING WINDOWS XP SP2 I RECENTLY DELETED THE WUWEB.DLL FILES ETC THAT DID
HELP BUT I STILL CANNOT GET UPDATE TO RUN..ALSO I AM HAVING TROUBLES
INSTALLING AND UNISTALLING PROGRAMS SUCH AS NORTON. I GET THE ERROR CODE
0x8DDD0004
