Hi,
could I set somehow that incoming files inherites the permissions of
containing folder? If not, I would welcome it...

Greetings Jan,

You mean files in My Received Files and NTFS permissions? Because they should by default.

If not, go into the properties for My Received Files, choose the Security tab, set them the
way you want and choose Advanced, (then Edit if using Vista) then the 'Replace all existing
inheritable permissions...' checkbox and click OK.

Hi Jonathan,
Yes. I agree they should by default, but I miss the option to change it.
If I store the files to another directories (using Save As...) I always have
to traverse these files again and clear these permissions. Moreover, if the
NTFS permissions of the incoming files will be set to inherit, setting these
limits on My Received Files would do.
