security update core pack 2 kb936181

windows update keeps prompting me every time turn on my pc to install
security update for microsoft XML core service pack 2 (kb936181) I've
installed it 18 times succesfully and it's only failed one time. Can anyone
help me with this?

I have had the same experience and havenot been able to find help to resolve

Is it the case that I have to fix the corrupted file before the repeated
requests for the the update will go away?

Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2
(KB936181) may repeatedly appear in the update list on Microsoft Update
or on Windows Update
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941729

Either follow the steps in the KB or stop every HP service from loading
on startup from MSConfig.
The issue *usually* is caused by a file being in use [ msxml4.dll ] when
the update is installed and it can not be replaced fast enough on a
restart due to the printer software/services loading before the
replacment takes place.
