A Security Update I have already installed 823559

A Security Update I have already installed keeps showing up as needing to be
installed
Problem Description:
I downloaded a a Security Update (823559) and it states that the install was
successful. When I go back to the Windows Update site the driver is
available for installation again. This has happened several times.

hi bimmster.i have the exact same problem as you. i got a suggestion to check
it out. if you go down to the thread on the next page called igzer you can
see the possible resolution answer. i think its only for windows 2000/xp
though. i am running windows 98 and am not sure if this solution will do me.
its a bloody annoying problem though. i have installed this patch 12 times
already and it keeps asking me to install it every time i connect to the
network.

Boy howdy, is this one a pain. I've even downloaded multiple time in same
day....no help though....is this a windows 98 thing? cause thats whats runnin
here too!

hi bimmster were you able to resolve this issue. ive tried everything and
still asking me to reinstall this patch. its showing up as being installed on
my system. any suggestions?
