Security update KB832483 repeatedly downloading

I m a windows 2000 user (NT platform). My problem is that Security update
KB832483 goes on downloading even after i install itand reset the PC.At least
15 times it has got installed and it cannot be removed from ADD/Remove
programs either as it is not listed there.

Hi Kaushik - for an answer to your question, please go to 'KB832483 critical
update' which was posted on this forum on the 10 May 2007 by Moonshimmer.
Then view the answer to this posted question. Paste the url in the answer to
your browser. Hope it works for you. I've just completed it.
