security update KB912919 and Outlook 2003 attachment issue

Greetings,

After I installed update KB912919 I had trouble attaching files to e-mail in
Outlook 2003 using the attach file button. After pressing the button,
exploring files on our server became very slow and most times would be
imposible to attach (outlook would become non-responsive). Other computers
in our office developed this same issue. I removed the update and outlook
worked fine. Will Microsoft be addressing this issue?

This may be caused by interference with your Anti-virus software please try
disabling the software and then install the update.
