Security Update KB921398 Problem

This update caused several problems. I'm using a Pentium4, WinXP Pro. No
desktop folders would open. Upon clicking them I'd get a error message that
Internet Explorer had a problem and had to close. I'd send the Error Report
and then the desktop would blink, go blank just leaving the background
scheme, and then all my icons would reappear. But then I'd loose a icon in
the task bar, i.e. FreeRamXP. Each time I'd click on another desktop folder,
the same thing and I'd loose yet another icon in the task bar, i.e. AntiVir
Guard. When I'd try to use the Start Menu - Control Panel, nothing would
open. I deleted KB921398 and now everything works as it did.

Im sorry, it's KB905474, I am trying to update the Virus Protection.
