I'm using Vista Ultimate 32-bit and just noticed when I used Belarc Advisor
(updated) that I needed a critical security update Q931768 a.k.a. KB931768.
Microsoft Update didn't offer it so I went looking and found the download at
Technet. Opted for the link for I.E.7 and Vista.
It wont install saying that it doesn't apply to my system. Never had this
happen before so am wondering what I should believe here!

If "Security Update for Windows Internet Explorer 7 (KB933566)" is listed in
Add/Remove Programs, you don't need 931768 installed and would be better off
relying on Microsoft Update for critical updates your machine needs.

Contact Belarc Advisor Support with any further questions.

Thanks. This may be a duplicate reply as I have been having troubles with
WM signing me out. I don't rely on Belarc but was surprised as usually it
is pretty good. I told them about it.

Hi i have same problem
However KB931768 is not listed in installed updates
Manual download results in "this update does not
apply to your system"
Was a solution ever found to this problem?
Thanks
