I have updated this several times, it keeps saying it needs to be updated,
the Shield in my lower right hand of my computer on the items running menue
near my clock, keeps returning saying I need this update. I have even gone to
the the update site here at microsoft and installed every update, including
this one and it still remains coming back. I think Microsoft gave me a
bug/virus or they have some script error they did on this update?? Can anyone
help on this?

Same here. Happened for the last couple of days. Surprised someone's not
fixed it.

Yes I saw your post and was hoping someone would answer one of our posts.
I wish Microsoft administrators would monitor these forums and respond??

Ref awcurity update KB936181, I have the same problem. Have updated and
installed as requested 39 times and still get the little icon in the lower
right stating I have a update. Like the rest of you I wish there is someone
or way to correct this.

I have exactly the same problem with KB927891. The shield keeps saying there
are updates, then when it tries to install it, it says "some updates could
not be installed" and then comes back later to tell me to install the update.
Has anyone got an answer yet?

I'm also having the same problem with KB936181. I've click on the shield icon
and deselected update KB936181. About an hour later the icon appeared again
saying that update KB928366. I installed that update and almost immediately
the shield was back wanting to install the same update again. I'm going to
deselect it also. Its getting to the point that the "security updates" are
more of a hinderance than a help!

Thanks, Cumberlanddutch.
I have just done the same thing - I deselected it, then clicked on Don't
show me this update again ( or something like that) and it worked! It has
stopped coming up (4 hours now) and all looks good. The worrying thing is
that the update looks like it may be important and I haven't got it ! Anyway,
it had to be done. Try deselecting again. Good luck and thanks.

Regarding KB936181, I have not received anymore updates notices since I
indicated (do not show this update again) but I have received this when I
check for updates.
Quote You asked us ot to show ypu pne or more high prioroty updates but your
computer might be at risk until they are installed. unquote. Sonce I have
more than 40 updates and download and installations I am ignoring this
statement

Thanks again.

Bob.
