security update for microsoft xml core services 4.0 sp2

My pc keeps telling to install this update. I have installed it
(successfully) multiple times. The automatic update warning keeps showing up
stating I still need to update. (updates ready for your computer click here
to install these updates) i do but it does not go away. what do i do?

If you can not rename msxml4.dll in normal Windows mode, than boot to
Safe Mode and do it from there: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222
