Security Update for Windows XP (KB835732)

Hi,
I'm currently updating on Win XP Pro and have reached a snag. All has gone
well until updating the following:

Security Update for Windows XP (KB835732)

Since this update I'm unable to proceed further on my journey towards sp2.
Any manual or any option in Win Auto Update returns to this update
repeatedly, evn now 24 hours later.
If anyone has experienced this and found a solution, I'd very appreciate
they're sharing it.
I've installed Zone Alarm free firewall as a security measure but would like
to update to sp2 if possible.

Hi,
Me again. I've found the download link (multi-user...) where I can just
download all the files and bypass the update path. Also I did notice that
this security update did not register with the OS as it wasn't in the
add/remove window. So I gues this is the essential problem.
Once I've downloaded the entire package I'll try to install it and let you
know if it works...
