All the new MS updates installed successfully, accept "Security Update for Windows XP
(KB893066)"
I tried installing several times... kept failing.
I downloaded the standalone update.
When I tried to install it, I'd get an error msg "setup cannot copy update_sp2qfe.inf"
It points to a temp folder where update_sp2qfe.inf is.
I can open the file. It isn't read only.

Any ideas what might be going on?

I have that problem too. Not that error tho, just the message it failed to
install. I am running SP2. I see some reference to problems with SP1. Hope
someone see this and has a fix. It is annoying now as it sits on my tool bar
all the time.

I wonder if Add/Remove Programs would be a good method to get rid of it?
I might save a Restore Point, try it and advise ya'll
