security update XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2 (KB954430)

I keep getting a request to download and install the above windows update - I
have installed it a number of times but I still keep being requested to
download and install time and time again -how can I get rid of it?

Since posting this question I see that hundreds of people are/were in the
same position and I have (hopefully) resolved the problem by doing the
following course of action by downloading the update to desktop and the
deleting the file via Add/remove programmes ans then re-install the programm
from the saved file on the desktop - DJC26
