I manage a web site that sells items, I have pictures that I keep in folders
for each of these items, separate from the web site file, that go with the
page they are on in FrontPage, I add or remove items often so I work with
these folders constantly. I set the view to medium so I can see that there
are pictures in the folders or not. In XP when I set the view to medium the
tooltip when I hover the mouse over the folder would also show me the name of
the first couple of pictures in that folder, in Vista I do not seem to be
able to find the option to do this, all I see is the date and size
information. I really don't need the date and size information as much as the
names of the pictures inside the folders. It is much easier for me to hover
over these folders to see the names of the pictures inside over having to
double click and open them up.
Unrelated to this I also am having a problem in FrontPage where I can not
delete a group of images to take off the site, using Ctrl and clicking the
files one by one doesn't work to highlight more then one file at a time, so I
have to delete one at a time, I can use Ctrl Shift if they are in a row but
must go to Edit and then Delete to remove them because if I try to use right
mouse click it removes the highlighting from all but the image I right mouse
clicked on.
I have been working with Vista since Jan 31 and these are a few problems I
must see if I can solve so I don't have to keep going back and forth with an
XP computer to be more productive.
