I\Hi, I installed Vista 64-bit on my laptop. And everytime I boot the OS; a
popup box witht the title "Select certificate" comes on. There are no
certificate to choose from. So, what's missing?

That's not much information about the failure (unless someone else here has
encountered that symptom; I haven't). A few questions that might help...

Does the system seem to work correctly after you dismiss the "Select
Certificate" dialog?

Is the message appearing at boot time, or after login? What is the EXACT
text in the dialog box?

Does anything related to this appear in any of the event logs?

Is your system joined to a domain (which might be pushing a policy)?

Does your laptop have a smartcard reader? Fingerprint reader?

Does your laptop have a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) chip? If so, have you
run its configuration program?

Have you enabled file encryption? BitLocker?

Is your system up to date with the MS bugfixes?

Yes, everthing does seem to work correctly. I went into my office tools,
Digital Certificate for VBA Projects. Created a certificate and now it
appears in the pop up.

There is nothing thatg is push from the domain. And yes it is part of a
domian. Smartcard reader, I do have a card reader., No figure printer
reader. no, TPM , no BitLocker, and I have the all of the MS bugfixes.
