When going to Windows Updates, looking at only the Express (high
priority) updates,
How can I select which ones I want to download.
Its seems to me there used to be a check box to select which ones I
wanted and now I dont see a way to select.

The reason I ask is becasue I dont want IE 7 right now, and for some
reason microsoft seems to think that belongs in the high priority
updates.

Thank You

To Hide Windows Update
Go to the Windows Update site, there you can click on the [+] next to the
item
description and then check the "don't show me this update again" box, and
Windows update/Automatic Updates will be hidden and not offered unless you
unhide it.

I have looked and looked and I dont have a "don't show me this
update again" box anywhere that I can see,
When I click the + to open the description, nothing there, nowhere
do I have that box.
In the options to the left I have an option to Unhide items, but I
cannot see any box that says dont show me this update again.

Any ideas why not,
Where is this box supposed to be,
I know I used to see one, but lately I havent.

I am using XP SP2

Thank You

To hide an update, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, point to All Programs, and then click either Windows Update
or Microsoft Update.
2. Click Custom.
3. Click to clear the check box that is next to the update that you want to
hide.
4. Expand the update that you want to hide, and then click to clear the
Don't show this update again check box.
5. Click Review and install updates.
