Self signing printer driver for Win 7 testing

Hi,
I have successfully beenn able to self sign my printer driver in XP and
tried to do the same for the driver under Win 7 but it always fails!
The signing process succeeds but when installing the driver it still is
asking for permission to install the unsigned driver.
Is there anything that I am missing here?
DO I have to set anything in the Win 7 environment to enable self signed
driver testing?

Self signing doesn't eliminate warnings. It does, however, reduce the
"threat level" of the warning message.

And, on 64-Bit Editions drivers must be at least self-signed to allow then
to be installed at all.

If your driver has a matching WHQL test category, then to totally eliminate
the warnings you must run the appropriate WHQL tests and get a WHQL
signature for your driver.

Max also mentioned that if you install your signing certificate on the host
first, then install your driver, the warning may not appear.

Good luck,

Yes, I described my successful way of doing things in "Test-signing for 2003" or such post, can be searched in the list archives. Around 3 months ago. It is a complete step-by-step description.
