Hi, Jambonick.
(No need to post the same question so many times. And, didn't I read it in
a different newsgroup, too? Next time, please cross-post, don't
multi-post.)
When you finish drafting a message in the Compose window - just like I am
doing now - there is a Send button at the left end of the Toolbar. Unless,
of course, Customized your Toolbar has been Customized to eliminate that
button. In which case you can just right-click on the Toolbar, click
Customize Toolbar... and add it back again. You'll need to do this
separately for Mail and News because each mode has its own Compose window.
As soon as you click Send, the message will be sent - UNLESS you've cleared
the check from the "Send messages immediately" box at Tools | Options |
Send. If that box is UNchecked, the message will stay in your Outbox until
the next Synchronize cycle, when it will be sent with all the other messages
in the Outbox.
As the other posters told you, the WLM Team replaced Send/Receive with Synch
in the latest WLM build (14.0.8089.0726). There are some under-the-hood
differences, but Synch does almost the same thing as Send/Receive. You can
put Sync on your Mail Toolbar and Sync Everything on your News Toolbar (note
the slight difference) if they are not already there. See Winston's Reply
in this thread for a fuller explanation of Sync.
