Send picture without Photo Share (disable photo share)

How can I disable photo share?
When I drag a a file into conversation input, it is sent using "Send file"
feature. But if the file is a picture then photo share is used.

I don't like to use photo share as it gives little control on the received
files and takes most of the screen.

I just want to quickly send a picture without having to use "Files->Send a
file or photo..." menu.

At this time, there really isn't a way to do this. I've seen some Messenger Plus scripting
done (including one by a good friend of mine) to deal with Ctrl-Ving and PhotoShare in a
conversation window, but no one has been able to tackle the drag/drop operation as of yet.

You're not the only one who feels this way about this feature (including myself) and I'm
crossing my fingers that we'll see an off switch for this in a future release. I know for a
fact that the team has been alerted to this particular feedback so there is at least some
possibility...
